Dziś moją inspiracją jest kapsuła czasu czyli stare puszki skrywające skarby dzieciństwa. W pracy wykorzystałam blok papierów Ciao Bella Time Capsule pełen stron z tłami, dodatków do wycinania, napisów. Przy okazji postanowiłam wykorzystać i wypróbować lakier liquid glass - DecoArt i ozdobić nim małe tabliczki z napisami i cyframi aby wyglądały jak metalowe tabliczki. Pokażę wam na krótkim tutorialu jak to zrobiłam.

Today my inspiration is a time capsule - old tins hiding childhood treasures. I used a block of Ciao Bella Time Capsule papers full of pages with backgrounds, cut-outs and lettering. By the way, I decided to use and try out the liquid glass lacquer - DecoArt and decorate with it the small plates with inscriptions and numbers to make them look like metal plates. I will show you in a short tutorial how I did it.

In the block you will find beautiful accessories to cut out. I choose those that I associate with metal plates and cut them out

Wycięte elementy podlkejam beermatą żeby je usztywnić a brzegi dokładnie tuszuje.

The cut-outs are glued with beermats to make them more rigid and the edges are carefully inked.

Dzięki rusztowaniu ukrywam białe brzegi beermaty . 

With the scaffolding I hide the white edges of the beermat .

Lakier ma żelową konsystencję więc wygodnie nakładać go szpachelką. Najpierw cienką warstwę a po jej dokładnym wyschnięciu drugą warstwę. 

The varnish has a gel-like consistency so it is convenient to apply with a spatula. First a thin layer and when it has dried thoroughly, a second layer.

Tabliczki pięknie błyszczą choć trudno ten efekt pokazać na zdjeciach. 

The plaques shine beautifully although it is difficult to show this effect in photographs.
