Przyszedł czas na zalterowanie

starych, zardzewiałych nożyczek,

które kiedyś dostałam w prezencie,

pod warunkiem właśnie,

że ozdobię je w stylu mixed media :)

Pasty z efektem rdzy (Prima Marketing, Finnabair)

It's high time to alter my vintage scissors!

They were already quite rusty,

but I added a bit of texture and color using 

the newest Rust Pastes by Prima Marketing (Finnabair).

Zbudowałam kilka warstw z pomocą papierowych elementów,

metalowych skrzydeł i tekturek SnipArt.

I build some layers using paper elements from Amber Moon collection,

metal wings and some SnipArt chipboards.

Do nadania tekstury i koloru wykorzystałam

 zestaw Rust Paste Set w wersji Metal Rust i Military Rust.

To add some texture and color I used

RKS Ambassador Anat Weksler presents: Art Journal cover

Hello RKS lovers!

Here today to share with you my Art Journal cover, made with goodies you can find at Retro Kraft Shop.

 I have in my stash this Tim Holtz Fabric and I decided to use it but you can perfectly replace it with the Tim Holtz paper with the same design from the gorgeous Wallflower paper Stash.

In order to protect the paper  I gave it a coat of  Clear Gesso. Next step I used a stencil and Light paste to get some more interest to the cover. I just love Finnabair's silicone Brush it so much easier to get an even coat with it. I left the texture white so it will separate between the paper and the cluster.  I than assembled the composition with the beautiful Clock background chipboard painted with Dark Forest and French Orange  Art Alchemy Metallic Paints and Iris Potion Sparks Art Alchemy Paints. 
I did the same with the Cabochons I also brushed on both a little bit of White gold and Aged Brass Metalic Waxes. After adhering it to the cover I added some Screw heads and Hexagons.
In the center  I placed die-cut flowers and a Metal Butterfly on which I glued mini numbers on top.
Final step was to adhere one of the lovely signs with Heavy body Gel.

After all was in place and  dry I had to give every thing a touch of White gesso.

Dzisiaj mam dla Was magiczną butelkę, tym razem w wersji kobiecej...

Uwielbiam tą magię, kiedy bierzesz zwykłą, szklaną butelkę i zamieniasz ją w piękną ozdobę.

;) 

Today, I would like to share with you this magic glass bottle in a female version.

 I really love this magic when you take a simple glass bottle and turn it to a beautiful decoration.

;)

Do ozdobienia mojej butelki, użyłam białego gesso, pasty pozłotniczej, sporej ilości papierowych kwiatów, metalowych dodatków oraz kolorowych mediów.

Dodałam też magiczne drzwi - odlew z foremki Prosvet. 

Do zabezpieczenia butelki, użyłam matowego i pękającego lakieru.

To altered this bottle, I used a white gesso, goldpasta, a lot of paper flowers, some metal embellishments and colorful medias.  

I also added magic door - a cast from the Prosvet mold.

To secure the bottle, I used a matte and crackle varnish.
