Hello! Do you remember my project called "Mysterious package"? I have created Mysterious package II and prepared a step by step video tutorial for you!  So, to start with, some photos, then the video and some additional information at the end of the post :)

I trochę informacji uzupełniających. Myślę, że wszystko stanie się jasne po zapoznaniu się z treścią filmu, więc nie martwcie się, jeśli przed obejrzeniem tutoriala wygląda to na nieco skomplikowane. Gdybyście jednak mieli jakieś pytania, śmiało zadawajcie je w komentarzach pod postem lub video :)

And some complementary information. I think everything should be clear after watching the video, so don't worry if it looks a bit complicated before you watch. Nevertheless, if you have any questions, you may ask in the comments here or under the video :)

Pierwszym krokiem jest ustalenie wymiarów koperty. Ja do stworzenia koperty o pożądanych wymiarach używam tablicy do kopert firmy We R Memory Keepers i narzędzia Box Buster. Box Buster oblicza wymiar potrzebnego papieru i miejsca bigowania.
Możecie także użyć innego pudełka albo czegokolwiek, co chcecie oprawić w okładkę (np. minialbumu). Wówczas zastosujcie moje instrukcje używając wymiarów wybranego elementu jako A, B i C.

The first thing is to determine the envelope dimensions. I am using We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and the Box Buster tool to create an envelope of the desired dimensions. Box Buster calculates the size of the paper we need for the envelope and where to score. 
You may also use another kind of box or anything you like (eg. mini album) to put in the cover instead of the envelope and then follow my instructions using the dimensions of your chosen element as A, B and C.

Moja koperta ma wymiary 2,3 cm x 14 cm x 14 cm (A x B x C).
My envelope dimensions are 2.3 cm x 14 cm x 14 cm (A x B x C). 

Teraz należy stworzyć bazę okładki według wskazówek zawartych w nawiasach na obrazku poniżej albo po prostu użyć wymiarów, które ja zastosowałam. Doczytajcie, proszę, do końca, zanim odmierzycie wymiar D :)

Then, create a cover base according to the rules in the brackets in the picture below or just use the given dimensions. Please, read to the end before you decide about dimension D :) 

Potrzebujemy jeszcze jednego skrzydełka, którego szerokość H zależy od F i D, jak pokazano poniżej. Skrzydełko H musi nachodzić na skrzydełka D, ponieważ chcemy przykleić jeden jego brzeg do prawego skrzydełka D, a drugi schować pod lewym skrzydełkiem D, kiedy okładka jest zamknięta.

We also need one more wing and its width H depends on F and D as shown below. H-wing needs to overlap the D-wings, because we need to glue the H-wing to the edge of left D-wing and we want to hide the second edge of the H-wing under the right D-wing when the cover is closed.

Retro wakacje: Album-kolekcjoner Agnieszki / Retro holidays: Agnieszka's Collector-album

Pamiętacie o naszym wakacyjnym wyzwaniu? Jeszcze do soboty czekamy na Wasze prace - wszystko, co w stylu retro i związane z wakacjami oprócz kartek.

Ja dziś chciałabym pokazać Wam coś, co przygotowałam dla siebie - coś, czego do tej pory brakowało mi podczas wakacji. Bardzo lubię zwiedzać nowe miejsca i zawsze kompulsywnie zbieram wszystkie ulotki, broszurki, bilety, by potem wkleić je do po-wakacyjnego albumu. Do tej pory wszystko to trafiało do torby lub plecaka luzem - czasem coś się pogięło, czasem zgubiło. Postanowiłam więc na te wakacje lepiej się przygotować i stworzyłam album-kolekcjoner z 15 kieszonkami, który będę ze sobą nosić na wyprawy i do którego tymczasowo trafiać będą wszystkie zdobycze. 

Today I'd like to show you something that I've made for myself - something which I have always been missing on holiday trips. I really like sightseeing and I always compulsively collect all kinds of flyers, brochures, tickets to later use them in a photo album. Up till now all of this landed in my bag or backpack - sometimes it got crumpled, sometimes it got lost. So I decided to be better prepared this holiday season and made a collector-album with 15 pockets, which I'm going to carry arund with me and where I'm going to temporarily store all the treasures.

Album ma pięć kart - każda karta to jedna duża kieszeń i dwie mniejsze. 

The album consists of five pocket pages - each page is one big pocket and two smaller ones.

Każda ze stron powstała z jednego arkusza papieru 30x30 przyciętego do wymiarów 10x10 cali i zagiętego według poniższego schematu (linie przerywane). Żeby stworzyć małe kieszonki, przecięłam dolną część papieru po środku aż do poziomej linii zagięcia - powstałe w ten sposób skrzydełka zagięłam za góry i przykleiłam, tworząc małe kieszonki. Następnie złożyłam całość na pół tak, by małe kieszonki były na zewnątrz - to stworzyło dużą kieszeń, w którą można coś wsunąć od góry.

Each pocket page started off as a 30x30 paper sheet cut down to 10x10 inches and scored as shown below (the dashed lines are the scoring lines). To create the small pockets, I cut the bottom part in half up to the horizontal scoring line and folded the flaps up and glued them there. Then I folded eerything in half so that the small pockets were on the outside - which created a large pocket, accessed from the top.

Tak przygotowane strony zbindowałam i opatrzyłam okładką zrobioną z tektury połączonej płótnem craftowym - płótno jest bardzo mocne i pozwala na dowolne ruszanie okładką bez strachu, że coś się przetrze i rozleci (jak mogłoby się stać w przypadku papieru). Kolekcjonera można więc śmiało wrzucić do torebki i ruszyć w drogę. I to nie raz! Album może być przecież wielokrotnego użytku. :)

When the pocket pages were ready, I bound them and made a chipboard cover, which I bound with craft canvas - the canvas is very strong and lets the cover move freely while at the same time preventing anything from wearing off and falling apart (as the case might be with paper). So the collector can be thrown into a bag and the adventure can start. More than once! The album can be re-used on more and more trips. :)

Wszystkie strony i papier, który znalazł się na okładce mocno potuszowałam tuszem Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Okładka pozostała płaska - kolekcjoner ma być przede wszystkim finkcjonalny - zrobiłam tylko kilka zegarowych kształtów za pomocą maski i tuszu i zrobiłam kilka chlapań otwartą mgiełką. W centrum znalazła się bardzo pasująca mi tematycznie karta z zestawu ATC Archivist.

I inked all the pages and the cover paper heavily with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I kept the cover flat - the collector is supposed to be functional first of all - I only made some clock patterns using a stencil and ink and added some splatters using an open mist bottle. The centre is occupied by a card from the Archivist collection small ATC pad, which really went with my theme.
