Marzycie o stworzeniu wyjątkowej pamiątki ślubnej, która zachwyci Parę Młodą i stanie się piękną ozdobą ich nowego domu? Dziś przychodzę do Was z dawką ślubnych inspiracji- moim najnowszym, romantycznym projektem w ciepłym klimacie retro. Sercem tej trójwymiarowej kompozycji jest ramka HDF od Artistiko. W samym centrum ramki, umieściłam nostalgiczną grafikę z motywem pastelowych kwiatów, wykorzystując do tego niezawodny papier ryżowy od ITD Collection, który idealnie wtapia się w tło i nadaje całości niesamowitej głębi. Dół projektu to prawdziwy festiwal warstw, gdzie połączyłam przestrzenne, ręcznie robione kwiaty z subtelnymi elementami papierowymi od Scrap and Me i Art Alchemy. W centralnym punkcie nie mogło zabraknąć najważniejszego symbolu – splecionych obrączek oraz ponadczasowego cytatu o miłości autorstwa Seneki Młodszego. Mam nadzieję, że  zainspiruje Was do stworzenia własnych, niepowtarzalnych upominków, a wszystkie użyte materiały znajdziecie oczywiście na półkach naszego sklepu. Do you dream of creating a unique wedding keepsake that will delight the bride and groom and become a beautiful decoration for their new home? Today I’m sharing some wedding inspiration with you - my latest romantic project with a warm retro vibe. At the heart of this three-dimensional composition is an HDF frame from Artistiko. Right in the center of the frame, I placed a nostalgic graphic featuring pastel flowers, using the reliable rice paper from ITD Collection, which blends perfectly into the background and gives the whole piece incredible depth. The bottom of the project is a true festival of layers, where I combined three-dimensional, handmade flowers with subtle paper elements from Scrap and Me and Art Alchemy. The centerpiece, of course, features the most important symbol - intertwined wedding rings - along with a timeless quote about love by Seneca the Younger. Wynalazcy w żarówce

Dziś moją inspiracją jest mediowa żarówka z papierami z kolekcji Visionaries, pełnej pięknych teł i dodatków w stylu steampunk. Baza mojego projektu to żarówka od Artistiko oraz trybiki hdf. Do ozdobienia bazy wykorzystałam woski od Finnabair i pastę antrcytową z Pentartu. Poniżej na krótkim tutorialu pokazuję kolejne etapy powstawania projektu.

Hi 

Today, my inspiration is a mixed-media light bulb featuring papers from the Visionaries collection, which is full of beautiful backgrounds and steampunk-style embellishments. The base of my project is a light bulb from Artistiko and some HDF cogs. To decorate the base, I used waxes from Finnabair and anthracite paste from Pentart. Below, in a short tutorial, I show the different stages of creating the project.

Zaczynam od pomalowania bazy i trybików czarnym gesso , które wydobedzie kolory pasty i wosków. Kiedy gesso wyschnie przy pomocy szpachelki nakładam nieregularnie pastę antrcytową aby stworzyć fakturę pod rdzę. Pasta na metaliczny połysk co dodatkowo podkreśla steampunkowy styl pracy

I start by painting the base and cogs with black gesso, which will bring out the colours of the paste and waxes. Once the gesso has dried, I use a palette knife to apply anthracite paste in an irregular pattern to create a rust-like texture. The paste has a metallic sheen, which further emphasises the steampunk style of the piece.

Po wyschnięciu pasty wyborem tło które ozdobi wnętrze żarówki. Przyklejam tło i zabezpieczam j colage medium aby móc potem działać mediami na papierze. Medium dodatkowo podbija kolory tła. Potem sklejam bazę i układam kompozycję z trybików nawiązując do motywów na tle.

Once the paste has dried, I choose a background to decorate the inside of the bulb. I stick the background in place and seal it with collage medium so that I can later work with art media on the paper. The medium also enhances the colours of the background. I then glue the base together and arrange a composition of cogs, echoing the motifs on the background.

Wykorzystując metaliczne i matowe woski tworzę efekt rdzy nawiązując do kolorystyki i kompozycji tła. Kiedy woski wyschną z wyciętych dodatków do kolekcji tworzę kompozycję nawiązującą do tematu pracy. 

Using metallic and matt waxes, I create a rust effect that complements the colour scheme and composition of the background. Once the waxes have dried on the cut-out elements for the collection, I create a composition that reflects the theme of the piece.

Lost inTime

Czy zdarza Wam się czasem patrzeć na stare fotografie i zastanawiać się, jakie historie kryją się za ukrytymi na nich spojrzeniami? To właśnie ta nostalgia i tęsknota za minionymi epokami zainspirowały mnie do stworzenia najnowszego projektu, który zatytułowałam „Lost in Time”. Sercem całej kompozycji stały się nietypowe, HDF-owe bazy w kształcie heksagonów od Artistiko. Aby przełamać ostre linie geometrii, kolejną warstwę stworzyłam z ozdobnych, faliście wyciętych tabliczek. Całość zyskała niesamowitą głębię, którą dodatkowo podbiłam, oddzielając poszczególne elementy tekturkami i dystansami. Pracę z mediami rozpoczęłam od solidnej bazy, czyli białego gesso. To absolutny fundament, który przygotował powierzchnię na przyjęcie bogatej palety barw. Chciałam uzyskać efekt wiekowej, nadszarpniętej zębem czasu tabliczki. Do zbudowania głębokich, ziemistych cieni i ciepłych tonów użyłam farb Liquid Acrylic w odcieniach brunatnego brązu, ochry oraz głębokiej, przygaszonej żółci. Metaliczny, postarzany blask to zasługa mgiełek Distress Spritz. Głównym punktem projektu jest portret tajemniczej kobiety, otoczony. Do budowy tła i papierowych akcentów wykorzystałam zachwycające elementy z kolekcji Faded Lane od 49 and Market – ich stonowana, lekko vintage'owa kolorystyka idealnie wpisała się w mój zamysł.

Do you ever find yourself looking at old photographs and wondering what stories lie behind the gazes captured in them? It was precisely this nostalgia and longing for bygone eras that inspired me to create my latest project, which I’ve titled “Lost in Time.” At the heart of the entire composition are unique hexagon-shaped HDF bases from Artistiko. To soften the sharp geometric lines, I created another layer using decorative, wavy-cut tags. The whole piece gained incredible depth, which I further enhanced by separating individual elements with chipboard and spacers. I began working with the media by applying a solid base of white gesso. This is the absolute foundation that prepared the surface to receive a rich color palette. I wanted to achieve the effect of an aged, weathered sign. To create deep, earthy shadows and warm tones, I used Liquid Acrylic paints in shades of brownish bronze, ochre, and a deep, muted yellow. The metallic, weathered sheen is thanks to Distress Spritz mists. The focal point of the project is a portrait of a mysterious woman, surrounded by various elements. To create the background and paper accents, I used stunning elements from the Faded Lane collection by 49 and Market—their subdued, slightly vintage color palette fit perfectly with my vision.
